The image highlights the use of dust and oil to create less structured color masses, where earth tones and cobalt blue merge on the threshold of abstraction. The painting articulates the idea of a "soft" architecture, losing its functional rigidity to become an elastic substance under the effect of gravity. Click to see more.

Artwork by Bruno Neves from the Structures (Estruturas) series. The artist exercises a conscious articulation of city systems, where the filling occurs through the slow deposition of each brushstroke. The painting uses sedimentation to fill the gaps of a suggested framework, transforming scaffolds and underground passages into planes of a sensitive geometry, built by the rhythmic accumulation of color.

The artist uses a horizontal divider to confront the weight of black with the luminosity of yellowish white, articulating the transition between rigid geometry and fluid filling. The painting investigates the duality between inside and outside, where the use of the canvas's white and the artist's frame reinforce the perception of an urban structure oscillating between permanence and dissolution.
